Prayer Points 23 August
Prayer Points for the Coming Week
Sunday 23rd August – Ask God's blessing on all who have a part in leading worship and fostering fellowship across the united parish today and pray especially for the first Sunday@7 gathering of the new session tonight.
Monday 24th – Keep in your prayers those who are struggling will ill-health, anxiety or bereavement at this time and pray that they may know God's presence and the practical support of the fellowship.
Tuesday 25th – Pray for the ministry team – Alan Finlay, Alex Johnson, Monica Mochar and Alan Reid – as they spend the day today in reflection, prayer and planning.
Wednesday 26th – Pray for the staff, volunteers and service users of Kinross Centre and ask God's blessing on all who are involved.
Thursday 27th – Pray that as organisations and groups within the church which have had a break over the summer begin to start up again new people may find a warm welcome.
Friday 28th – Remember today that many of our sisters and brothers in Christ face persecution for their faith in many parts of the world and pray that their witness to the love of God may touch those who persecute them for good.
Saturday 29th – Faithful God, you are the hope of all the oppressed, and the source of freedom for those held captive. Make us strong to witness to your liberating power, in generosity of life and in humility of spirit, that all the world may delight in your goodness.
