The coming weeks will undoubtedly fly past in an increasing frenzy of busy-ness as Christmas draws near – planning, shopping, festive events, making contact with people, meeting up with people, all of which contributes to making this time of year what many find so special but which also brings increased stress and weariness.

A message from Rev Alan D Reid

As parish minister, it is my very great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of the elders and members. 

Kinross Parish Church is a congregation of the Church of Scotland made up of people from the local community, people of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds.  We are committed to serving our parish in practical ways as we seek to bear witness to the Good News about Jesus Christ which inspires us.  The first Christians were called 'Followers of the Way' and above all we seek to be true to the One who is our Saviour and our Lord.

Church Life

As we continue to be able to meet in person, Sunday Worship is no longer on Zoom but continues to be live streamed on Facebook & You Tube (follow links at the top of this page) and also by audio on the phoneline. The red ALERT button at the top of the page gives all the latest information and what you need to know.

A big thank you to Evelyn who, after 21 years, has decided to step down from leading the Pram Service. Evelyn would be delighted to speak to anyone who might be interested in continuing this unique and rewarding ministry.

Christmas Kin-nections is now available to download from the website and will be being delivered over the coming weeks. Keep up to date with all that's going on including features on Sunday Worship (p7), Eco-Team Activities (p8) and Growing Young (p13); details of Christmas Services (back page) and updates from Ian and Rob as they continue in their ministry training and discernment process.

This December's special offerings will go to Christians Againt Poverty (Communion) and Eagles Wings Trust in Dundee (Christmas) both of whom campaign and work tirelessly to alleviate the effects of poverty and homelessness.
