Prayer Points 9 August

Prayer Points for The Coming Week:

Sunday 9 August. Give thanks for the opportunities we have to enjoy Christian fellowship as we serve together in local worship centres and across the united parish and pray for fruit from all the labours of many during Family Week.
Monday 10 August.   Pray for those who have recently received exam results as they take the next steps in shaping their future path in life, that they may know God's guiding and God's
peace.
Tuesday 11 August.  Ask God to breathe peace upon the whole world at this time of tension andconflict and pray for the leaders of the nations that the decisions they make may be for the
good of all.
Wednesday 12 August.   Remember before God those who are struggling with ill-health or bereavement and all who are offering care and support. Pray for healing of body, mind and
spirit.
Thursday 13 August.   Seek the blessing of God on all who work in Christian mission and international development as they play their part in extending God's Kingdom through word
and deed.
Friday 14 August.  Pray for pupils, students, parents and teachers as they prepare for the start of a new session, especially those who are facing changes and challenges.
Saturday 15 August.   Eternal God, you are present with us throughout our lives, even when others plot to do us harm. May we learn to live together in unity, that in all we do, we
may sing your praises now and forever.

Amen
