Prayer Points 7 June
Sunday 7 June. As we gather for worship, give thanks for all who will play a part in the five services that are taking place today across the united parish and pray that those who come through the doors or join online may have an encounter with the living God.
Monday 8 June. Give thanks that all kinds of people find their way to faith in Christ in all kinds of ways and as you pray for those around us who are seeking answers to life's questions ask God to show you the part you could play in sharing the Good News of Christ with someone.
Tuesday 9 June. Pray for all involved in administration and communication across the united parish and remember especially Jo, our Church Administration Manager, in the tasks she undertakes each day to enable the smooth running of the church.
Wednesday 10 June. Seek God's blessing upon the Kirk Session as they meet this evening to take forward the governance of the work of the church at this time.
Thursday 11 June. Give thanks for the work of the Scottish Bible Society as they seek to share the Bible with people in our own country and around the world.
Friday 12 June. Pray for our sisters and brothers in Christ around the world who face persecution for their faith and ask God's protection for them as they share the Good News of Christ with those around them.
Saturday 13 June. God of compassion, you have opened the way for us and brought us to yourself. Pour your love into our hearts, that, overflowing with joy, we may freely share the blessings of your realm and faithfully proclaim the good news of Christ.
