Prayer Points 5 October
Prayers for The Coming Week
Sunday, 5 October. As we gather to worship across the united parish today we also join in fellowship with the church universal in every language in heaven and on earth. Pray that this evening's service in Dunblane Cathedral with the Moderator of the General Assembly and with people from all across the Presbytery may be an expression of our unity in Christ.
Monday, 6 October. Pray for those gathering for board games in the church this afternoon and especially for those from beyond the church who find a place there.
Tuesday, 7 October. Ask God's blessing on the wee ones and their carers who gather each Tuesday morning for Stepping Stones in the church that many may find their way into
other church groups and events.
Wednesday, 8 October. Remember the work of Kinross Centre, its staff and volunteers and all service-users that they may find blessing in their coming together day by day.
Thursday, 9 October. Keep holding before God the many situations of conflict in our world at this time and the individuals who are suffering through no fault of their own. Ask God
to bring low those who are perpetrating crimes against individuals and against humanity.
Friday, 10 October. Uphold the work of the Brigade and pray for the Anchors, Juniors and Company Section and all the officers that they may each be led to find Christ as their anchor.
Saturday, 11 October. In your love, O God of hosts, your people find healing. Grant that the pains of our journey may not obscure the presence of Christ among us but that we may always give thanks for your healing power as we travel on the way to your Kingdom. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
