Prayer Points 5 July
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 5 July. Pray for Robert Calvert preaching at Fossoway today, for Kathy Dain
preaching at Kinross and Cleish, for the all-age service at Orwell, and for Alan Reid
preaching in the Great Church in Debrecen this morning.
Monday 6 July. Ask for God's blessing each day this week on the 'Scottish Camp' in
Debrecen, Hungary and for the eight teenage and adult team members from Kinross who
are leading it.
Tuesday 7 July. Remember before God all those affected by natural disasters around the
world and the aid agencies, governmental and charitable, who seek to bring relief to those in
need.
Wednesday 8 July. Pray that peace will reign in the world and that all those who actively
promote violence of any kind may be thwarted in all attempts to do harm to others.
Thursday 9 July. Remember those who are wrestling with ill-health, praying for healing and
new life, and asking God to provide the right people to walk with them through difficult days.
Friday 10 July. Ask God to watch over all the preparations for Family Week and pray for those
with a particular role to play that they may be equipped to fulfil their part.
Saturday 11 July. O God of mercy, in Jesus Christ you freed us from sin and death, and by
your Holy Spirit you nourish our mortal bodies with life. Plant us now in good soil, that our
lives may flower in righteousness and peace.
