Prayers for The Coming Week
Sunday 7 December. As we gather at the Lord's Table this morning, pray that all who break bread and share the cup together may know the living presence of Jesus
and be touched afresh by His transforming grace.
Monday 8 December. Wait for the Lord, His day is near. Wait for the Lord, keep watch, take heart. Set apart time today simply to be still, to watch and pray, and to be open to the
Lord's leading.
Tuesday 9 December. Pray for all who are part of Stepping Stones on Tuesday mornings and pray that each one may have an encounter with Jesus this Christmas.
Wednesday 10 December. Pray for all the service users, staff and volunteers at Kinross Centre and pray that each one may have an encounter with Jesus this Christmas.
Thursday 11 December. Pray for our partner church in Mombwe, Malawi, this Christmas and pray that our special collection will not only raise welcome funds to support their work
but awareness of the blessings and challenges they are experiencing at this time.
Friday 12 December. Remember before God all who suffer at this time whether through illness or grief, anxiety or persecution that each may know God's restoring touch
upon their life.
Saturday 13 December. O God of Isaiah and John the Baptist, through all such faithful ones you proclaim the unfolding of future joy and renewed life. Strengthen our hearts
to believe your advent promise that one day we will walk in the holy way of Christ, where sorrow and sighing will be no more and the journey of God’s people will be joy.
