Prayer Points 5 April
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 5 April. As we celebrate the joy of the resurrection morning pray that we may
take hold of Christ's resurrection power in our life as a church and turn the world upside
down once more with the Gospel.
Monday 6 April. Entrust every area of your life to God and pray that you may be used in new
ways in the fulfilment of His purposes in the coming days and through the coming year.
Tuesday 7 April. In these times of international uncertainty, pray for all caught up in conflict in
the Middle East and in Ukraine and ask God to breathe transforming peace into the hearts
of those on all sides who hold it within their power to bring conflict to an end.
Wednesday 8 April. Pray for all who offer support to vulnerable members of our community,
including carers, volunteer drivers, nurses and doctors and the staff of Kinross Centre.
Thursday 9 April. Remember the young of our community, praying for parents, teachers,
health visitors and midwives and ask that those who are on holiday just now may find
refreshment and renewal.
Friday 10 April. Keep in your prayers those who face discrimination and persecution for their
faith in Christ and especially those who are in prison or facing torture.
Saturday 11 April. Blessed are you, O God of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom we receive the
legacy of a living hope, born again not only from his death but also from his resurrection.
May we who have received forgiveness of sins through the Holy Spirit live to set others free,
until, at length, we enter the inheritance that is imperishable and unfading, where Christ
lives and reigns with you and the same Spirit.
