Prayer Points 4 May
We believe in a God that hears and answers prayer. Why not print this page and use it this week?
Sunday 4 May – Ask Christ to make Himself known to us all as we engage with God's Word this morning and as we gather at the Lord's Table.
Monday 5 May – Ask God's blessing on all who seek to discern God's call at this time, remembering the conclave of cardinals in the election of a new Pope in the Roman Church, the nominating committee of Kinross-shire Parish in the search for another parish minister, and those involved in KYTHE Connects in the shaping of a youth ministry post.
Tuesday 6 May – Pray for the work of Kinross Centre, Broke Not Broken and the Volunteer Group in supporting the vulnerable in our community.
Wednesday 7 May – Pray for the Kirk Session as it meets this evening to continue shaping the work of the united parish, that the elders would be open to God's leading in every aspect of our congregation's life and work.
Thursday 8 May – As we mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe, pray for those still scarred by that conflict and for all those struggling in the midst of today's conflicts that the Peace of Christ may reign.
Friday 9 May – Remember those who face persecution and opposition when they stand up for Jesus whether on the other side of the world or just around the corner.
Saturday 10 May – God of comfort and compassion, through Jesus, your Son, you lead us to the water of life and table of your bounty. May we who have received the tender love of our Good Shepherd be strengthened by your grace to care for your flock.
Amen
