Prayer Points 3 May

30 Apr 2026

Sunday 3 May.  As we gather for worship today, pray that we may be not only hearers of the Word but doers of it also and that our impact in the community may bring advances in God's Kingdom.

Monday 4 May.  Ask God to guide all those involved in shaping ministry across Kinross-shire at this time, including through KYTHE and in St Paul's Episcopal Church as well as in our congregational and parish ministries.

Tuesday 5 May.  Lay before God the many situations of conflict in our world at this time and pray that God's peace may be breathed into the hearts and minds of all.

Wednesday 6 May.  Remember the most vulnerable in our community and seek God's blessing for children and young people, the sick and disabled, the elderly and the poor.

Thursday 7 May.   As we go to the polls today to elect a new Scottish parliament, pray for all those involved in the practical arrangements for polling and counting.

Friday 8 May.   Entrust to God the formation of a new Scottish Government and pray that it may be guided by Christian principals of righteousness and justice that all people may be enabled to live life to the full.

Saturday 9 May.  Living and gracious God, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ you have brought us out to a spacious place where we are called to live as those redeemed. Empower us by your spirit to keep your commandments, that we may show forth your love with gentle word and reverent deed to all your people.

Amen
