Prayer Points 29 June

27 Jun 2025

We believe in a God that hears and answers prayer. Why not print this page and use it this week?

Sunday 29 June: As we gather for a united service at Orwell Church today and for the annual meeting of the united congregation, give thanks for what has been achieved in the last six months and pray for good foundations to be laid for the coming years of ministry and mission through Kinross-shire Parish Church.

Monday 30 June: Continue to uphold world leaders and those involved in diplomacy and negotiation that better ways may be found to settle disputes than through destruction, fear, death and heartache.

Tuesday 1 July: As many take the opportunity for a break or a change of scene in the coming weeks, pray that all would find refreshment of body, mind and spirit and life in all its fullness through Jesus Christ.

Wednesday 2 July: Lift before God the work of local organisations like the Kinross-shire Volunteer Group, Broke Not Broken, Kinross Centre and KYTHE and pray that many may benefit from their work.

Thursday 3 July: Remember those who have suffered bereavement in recent weeks and pray that they may find comfort and peace in the promises of God and in the fellowship of the church.

Friday 4 July: Pray for the summer mission team of 10 from Kinross as they travel to Debrecen tomorrow and take part in the service in the Great Church on Sunday, and especially as the Scottish Camp begins on Monday morning. Pray for a fruitful week for all involved.

Saturday 5 July: God of fresh beginnings, you make all things new in the wisdom of Jesus Christ. Make us agents of your transforming power and heralds of your reign of justice and peace, that all may share in the healing Christ brings.

Amen
