Prayer Points 1 March
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 1 March. Pray that we would each be prepared to meet with the living God
as we gather around the Lord's Table this morning and that we would be nourished
for the journey of faith as we break bread and share the cup.
Monday 2 March. Pray that God would be prompting the right people to apply as the post
of Pioneer Youth Minister for Kinross-shire is advertised through KYTHE over the
next three weeks. Pray also for the congregation of St Paul's Episcopal Church as
they look for a new minister at this time.
Tuesday 3 March. As the conflict continues in Ukraine pray for a God-inspired
breakthrough that will lead to real and lasting peace. Pray also for Gaza, Sudan,
Yemen, Syria and Iran.
Wednesday 4 March. During this Lenten season pray for a deepening of faith as
Christians make a conscious effort to fix their eyes on Jesus and to walk the way of
the Cross.
Thursday 5 March. Uphold before God the work of Kinross Centre, giving thanks for the
staff and volunteers and praying that all service users may know blessing through
their involvement.
Friday 6 March. Remember the various groups for children and young people that meet
under the umbrella of the church including Junior Church, Crossfire, Messy Church,
Stepping Stones, the Brigade, and Dungeons and Dragons.
Saturday 7 March. Enduring Presence, goal and guide, you go before and await our
coming. Only our thirst compels us beyond complaint to conversation, beyond
rejection to relationship. Pour your love into our hearts, that, refreshed and renewed,
we may invite others to the living water given to us in Jesus Christ our Lord.
