Prayer Points 27 September
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 27 September. As we take time to listen to God and to one another this month and to discern Christ's leading individually and as a congregation, pray for the courage to
step out in faith.
Monday 28 September. Give thanks that the whole world is held in God's hands and that He knows the hair on the heads of each person. Pray that the peace of Christ may enfold each one and that wars will cease to the ends of the earth.
Tuesday 29 September. Pray for the little ones in our communities that they may inherit from their parents and grandparents a world that is better than the one we inherited from ours.
Wednesday 30 September. Ask God's strength and comfort for those who are struggling with advancing age and remember tenderly in prayer all those who have recently been
bereaved.
Thursday 1st October. Pray for our overseas mission partners in Japan, Uganda, Malawi and Hungary, and those closer to home in KYTHE and InTogether.
Friday 2 September. Seek God's blessing on all the services over the weekend and those who will be taking part in them, and pray especially that any visitors and newcomers may receive a warm welcome.
Saturday 3 September. God, our beloved, you set before us the goal of new life in Christ. May we live in the power of his resurrection and bring forth the fruit of your gentle and loving rule.
