Prayer Points 27 July

Sunday 27 July: Pray for Irene McFarlane as she leads worship in Kinross this morning, for Christine Sime at Fossoway and Robert Calvert at Orwell, and pray for Alan Reid as he preaches at Loch Leven Church this morning.
Monday 28 July: Pray for all who have suffered bereavement recently and those for whom grief is a constant struggle. Remember those currently in the midst of preparing for a funeral.
Tuesday 29 July: Pray for the congregation of Broughty Ferry as Andrew Gardner is inducted this evening as team minister in the united congregation.
Wednesday 30 July: Continue to pray for lasting peace with justice in the many war-zones around the world, asking God to bring transformation to human hearts in the midst of conflict.
Thursday 31 July: Keep praying for the varied work of ministry and mission in Kinross-shire, for the elders and trustees, the ministry team and the many volunteers who serve.
Friday 1 August: Uphold those involved in the final preparations for Family Week and pray for God's blessing and protection over the whole week that there may be much fruit from the seed that is sown and the relationships that are developed during the week.
Saturday 2 August: Gracious God, in abundance you give us things both spiritual and physical. Help us to hold lightly the fading things of this earth and grasp tightly the lasting things of your Kingdom, so that what we are and do and say may be our gifts to you through Christ, who beckons all to seek the things above where He lives and reigns with you and Holy Spirit, one God for ever.
