Prayer Points 26 July
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 26 July. As God's people gather for worship across the united parish today, pray for a deepening fellowship as we all seek to follow Jesus where He is leading us at this time.
Pray especially for all who have a part to play in leading services today.
Monday 27 July. Where there is trouble or conflict in the world today, pray for God's peace and for the reconciling message of Christ to bring healing and new life.
Tuesday 28 July. Celebrate the hope of the Gospel of Christ in the way you live today and pray for opportunities to share that hope with any who ask what is important to you in life.
Wednesday 29 July. Ask the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of the children and young people who will take part in Family Week and that whole families will know the touch of
God's blessing as a result of the Good News that is shared.
Thursday 30 July. Pray for the family of Ann Pryde whose funeral takes place in Kinross today and keep in your prayers all who have been recently bereaved.
Friday 31 July. Commit into God's hands all the practical arrangements for Family Week and pray for safe-keeping of all involved, including safe travel for the three Hungarians who are
due to arrive tomorrow.
Saturday 1 August. On the eve of Family Week, give thanks for the 40 years of outreach that has gone before and for those who have grown up attending it and who now help to
lead it. Pray for God's blessing on every aspect of the week ahead that Christ's Kingdom may be extended among us and through us in the Kinross-shire community.
