Prayer Points 26 April
Sunday 26 April. Pray that those in our community who are seeking meaning in life will find their way into one of the churches or will have meaningful contact with a Christian believer who may help them to encounter Jesus Christ for themselves and be transformed by it.
Monday 27 April. Pray for all those attending the house-groups meeting throughout the week and the strong fellowship enjoyed. Ask that they will learn more about You, discern Your purpose for each of their lives and deepen their faith in, and love for, You.
Tuesday 28 April. Lift before God all who of those involved with Stepping Stones on a Tuesday morning, and pray especially for the youngest members of our community that they may be conscious of the love of Christ from their earliest days. Ask that the seeds sown here would grow and be nurtured, and bear fruit in the lives of all involved.
Wednesday 29 April. Remember before God those who are dealing with ill-health, medical procedures or operations, trauma or bereavement at this time that they may know the healing touch of Christ.
Thursday 30 April. As registrations have now opened for Family Week this summer, help those who are already making preparations for each part of the week and pray that the right people would come forward to help with all the tasks needed before and during Family Week.
Friday 1 May. Pray for all of those involved with the elections next week, across the nations of the United Kingdom. Remember in prayer all who bear responsibility of leadership in our church, communities and in our nation. May all serve with integrity and courage as they face challenges and new opportunities.
Saturday 2 May. Give thanks for all involved in preparations for public worship tomorrow. Ask the Lord to be at work in each of their lives, and that God's name will be glorified, so that, as God's people, we will be built up in our faith and equipped for service in our daily lives.
