Prayers for The Coming Week
Sunday 24 August: Pray that the Holy Spirit will be at work as God's people gather
across Kinross-shire for worship this morning, awakening and deepening faith in
those who are not in church as those who are.
Monday 25 August: Pray for Alex Johnson today as he has his final appraisal and as he
awaits God's call to a parish or position.
Tuesday 26 August: Pray for the children and parents of those who come to Stepping
Stones and pray that all may find a welcome and support from others as they attend.
Wednesday 27 August: Give thanks for the work of Kinross Centre and pray for service
users, staff and volunteers alike today.
Thursday 28 August: Pray for the Presbytery of Perth in its oversight of congregations
from Loch Lomond to Montrose and from Kinross to Blair Atholl that God's Kingdom
may be extended in our region.
Friday 29 August: As the new session begins for the Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association,
pray for Anchors, Junior and Company sections and all officers and volunteers that
they may know God's guiding presence throughout the year ahead.
Saturday 30 August: God of majestic glory, in humility you have revealed yourself in the
incarnation of your Son, Jesus Christ, who took the lowest place among us that we
might be raised to the heights of divinity. Teach us to walk the path he prepared for
us, so that we might take a place at the table with all who seek the joy of his kingdom.
