Prayer Points 22 March
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 22 March. As we gather as a united congregation in Fossoway and Orwell this Sunday to celebrate Alex's first Sunday as one of our parish ministers pray for a deepening fellowship and a growing desire to work together for the sake of God's Kingdom.
Monday 23 March. Give thanks for the Property and Finance Teams who do a power of work behind the scenes to support the work of the united congregation and pray that we will be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us by God for the sake of the ministry and mission of the Gospel in Kinross-shire and beyond.
Tuesday 24 March. Give thanks for the opportunities given to the ministers to speak at school assemblies across the parish and pray especially for assemblies at Kinross High School each morning this week.
Wednesday 25 March. Continue to pray for all caught up in conflict around the world and especially for those who have lost homes and livelihoods and loved ones. Pray that the Prince of Peace may be enthroned in the hearts of this world's leaders.
Thursday 26 March. Remember all who work to advance the Kingdom of God around the world through the sharing of the Gospel in word and in deed and pray that the hearts of many may be open to the Holy Spirit's moving.
Friday 27 March. Pray for those involved in the process to appoint a pioneer youth minister in partnership between KYTHE and the local churches that the person of God's appointing may soon be at work among us.
Saturday 28 March. God of our salvation, we give you thanks for Jesus Christ, our Lord, who came in your name and turned the lonely way of rejection and death into triumph. Grant us the steadfast faith to enter the gates of righteousness, that we may receive grace to become worthy citizens of your holy realm.
