Prayers for The Coming Week
Sunday, 21 September. Pray for members of the Guild leading this morning's service in Kinross and ask God's blessing on the work of the Guild across Scotland.
Monday, 22 September. Join your voice with all those crying out for peace in situations of violent conflict in our world today and for those persecuted for their faith.
Tuesday, 23 September. Pray for the little ones gathering in the Church this morning for Stepping Stones and ask God's blessing on them and their parents and carers and on the volunteer team involved.
Wednesday, 24 September. Ask God to be with all who belong to groups within the congregation such as Table Talk, the Craft Group, the Choir and the Guild as well as the house-groups and pray that new members may be welcomed and made to feel at home.
Thursday, 25 September. Pray for the congregations of Balfron & Fintry linked with Drymen & East Loch Lomond as the first minister of the recently linked charge, Revd. Alex Smeed, is inducted this evening.
Friday, 26 September. Seek God's blessing on the work of the Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association and for the officers as they prepare for this evening's meeting.
Saturday, 27 September. God of power and justice, like Jeremiah you weep over those who wander from you, turn aside to other gods, and enter into chaos and destruction. By your tears and through your mercy, teach us your ways and write them on our hearts so that we may follow faithfully the path you show us.
