Prayer Points 20 September
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 20 September. Pray that as we go from worship into our community we may
seek opportunities to share the love of God with friends, neighbours and strangers who
need a helping hand, a friendly word or a listening ear, showing God's love through our
actions.
Monday 21 September. Ask God to help us listen to Him and to one another as we seek guidance for
our journey as a united congregation.
Tuesday 22 September. Lift before God one situation of conflict locally or in the wider world and
pray for peace and reconciliation.
Wednesday 23 September. Remember before God one person who is facing a particular challenge
at the moment and pray that they may know God's presence with them.
Thursday 24 September. Pray for those who face persecution because of their faith that they may be
protected.
Friday 25 September. Ask God's help for all who will have a part to play in Sunday services and pray
that all who share in worship this week will know God's touch upon their lives.
Saturday 26 September. God of all who wander in the wilderness, you go before us as beacon and
guide. Lead us through all danger, sustain us through all desolation, and bring us home to
the land you have prepared for us.
