Prayer Points 20 July

Sunday 20 July: Pray for all who will cross the threshold of a church in Kinross-shire today or attend worship online, whether visitor or local, that they may encounter the living God in the fellowship of the people of God.
Monday 21 July: Keep in your prayers the work of the Nominating Committee as they go about the work of discerning God's leading in the search for a second full-time minister for the united parish.
Tuesday 22 July: Remember our sisters and brothers in Christ who face persecution and suffering for their faith and pray for an overturning of oppressive regimes and attitudes across the world.
Wednesday 23 July: Pray for Alex Johnson at this time of transition as he begins to seek God's leading with Hazel for the next stage in the journey of ministry and family life.
Thursday 24 July: Uphold in your prayers all who are preparing for Family Week, that the practical arrangements will fall into place and that God would be preparing the hearts of all who will attend to hear the Word and enter into new life.
Friday 25 July: Pray for those on holiday over the summer that they may find refreshment and renewal of body, mind and spirit.
Saturday 26 July: Living God, you raise us to fullness of being in sharing the Christ-life together. Teach us to pray and grant us hopeful persistence in seeking your will and your way, that by the power of the Spirit, love and faithfulness may meet to disarm the powers of this world.
