Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 2nd August. As Family Week begins its 40th anniversary year, give thanks for all the seed that has been sown over the years and pray that, as the Good News is shared
again this year, many may respond in faith.
Monday 3 August. Give thanks that people from many local churches are taking part in Family Week and pray that the evidence of Christian unity will speak of Christ to our community.
Tuesday 4 August. As you pray that God's Kingdom will come, invite Jesus to be enthroned as King in your life today that His reign may begin with you.
Wednesday 5 August. Pray that God will renew the strength of all the Family Week team in the coming days as their energy begins to flag and pray for safety in all the activities.
Thursday 6 August. Pray for the congregations of St Paul's Kinross and St James' Dollar as their new minister, Rev Carl Melville, is inducted at a service in Dollar this evening.
Friday 7 August. As Family Week draws to a close with the final day's teaching and activities and with a barbecue this evening, pray that all who have been touched by the Spirit may take
further steps of faith in the coming weeks and months.
Saturday 8 August Through the storms of life, O God, you are with your people in the person of Jesus your Son. Calm our fears and strengthen our faith that we may never doubt
his presence among us but proclaim that he is your Son, risen from the dead, living for ever
and ever.
