Prayer Points 19 July
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 19 July. Pray for Kathy Dain who will be leading worship at Fossoway and Orwell today and for Emma Whitham preaching in Kinross. Ask God's blessing on all who will join in worship in our churches and online.
Monday 20 July. As Family Week draws closer, pray for all who have particular responsibilities during the week and for the children and young people who will take part that many wonderful encounters with God may take place.
Tuesday 21 July. Pray for the family of David Rae whose funeral takes place at Fossoway today and keep in your prayers all those who have been recently bereaved.
Wednesday 22 July. Continue to pray for peace and healing between individuals and families and within communities, and for peace and reconciliation in our own nation and in the many international conflicts around the world at this time.
Thursday 23 July. Take a moment simply to be still and know that the Lord is God. Invite God to lead you in a very particular way today.
Friday 24 July. Pray that tomorrow's pilgrimage walk around the loch will be a time of great blessing for people from across the united parish as we journey and pray together.
Saturday 25 July. O Sovereign God, in Jesus Christ you set your holy reign upon this earth and within your people. So let its coming be like the mustard seed that grows into greatness, and like the leaven that mixes with the grain until the whole becomes greater, to the praise of the triune God, who lives for evermore.
