Prayer Points 19 April
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 19 April. Pray for all involved in services across the parish today including those
giving a welcome and those using their talents with flowers, music, technology and
hospitality as well as those leading prayers and readings and those who are preaching.
Monday 20 April. Give thanks for the democratic process that is underway in our country at
this time. Pray for all who are standing for election and especially for those taking part this
evening in the Hustings organised by the churches in Perth.
Tuesday 21 April. Continue to pray that the Prince of Peace will breathe into all the
discussions that are being held and guide leaders and diplomats towards a resolution of the
many conflicts that are raging in our world for the sake of the innocents who suffer at this
time.
Wednesday 22 April. Ask God's blessing on all those young people who are preparing for
exams in the coming weeks and those who are supporting them.
Thursday 23 April. Remember in your prayers the sick and the anxious, the homeless and the
bereaved and pray that each one may know the touch of the Good Shepherd today and the
practical support of people like us.
Friday 24 April. As applications for the post of Pioneer Youth Minister close today pray that the
person of God's choosing may be appointed to take this work forward in partnership with
KYTHE and the local churches.
Saturday 25 April. Living God, long ago, faithful women proclaimed the good news of Jesus’
resurrection, and the world was changed forever. Teach us to keep faith with them, that our
witness may be as bold, our love as deep, and our faith as true.
Amen
