Prayer Points 15 June
We believe in a God that hears and answers prayer. Why not print this page and use it this week?
Sunday 15 June: As we celebrate the perfect unity of God in the diversity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, pray that a similar unity may be known amidst the diversity of the congregations that make up Kinross-shire Parish Church, so that many in our communities may come to believe.
Monday 16 June: Continue to pray for preparations being made for the summer mission team leading the Scottish Camp at our partner church in Debrecen and for this year's Family Week here in Kinross, that many young lives and whole families may be touched by God's grace.
Tuesday 17 June: Remember in your prayers all those in our community who mourn the death of a loved one at this time or for whom painful memories from the past stubbornly refuse to heal. Ask that each one may experience the depth of God's comfort.
Wednesday 18 June: Uphold the work of the staff and volunteers of the Kinross Centre, Broke Not Broken, KYTHE and the Volunteer Drivers and pray that all in our community who are in need of any kind may find the help they need.
Thursday 19 June: Pray for those of our fellow Christians who suffer persecution for their faith in various countries around the world and ask God to protect them and to be at work in the lives of their persecutors that they may turn from their ways and find life in all its fullness in Christ.
Friday 20 June: Keep in your prayers all who bear the responsibility of leadership in our church and community, in our nation and in other countries, asking that they may serve with integrity and courage in the face of all challenges.
Saturday 21 June: God our refuge and hope, when race, status or gender divide us, when despondency and despair haunt and afflict us, when community lies shattered: comfort and convict us with the stillness of your presence, that we may confess all you have done, through Jesus Christ to whom we belong and in whom we are one.
Amen
