Prayer Points for The Coming Week:

Sunday 14 June.  Give thanks for all those gathering for worship across the united parish today and pray for the Let's Sing canal boat outing this afternoon that it may be a happy time of fellowship.

Monday 15 June.  Ask God's guiding for the leaders of the nations at this time of international turmoil, praying that the peace of Christ may inspire transformation in even the most contentious of situations.

Tuesday 16 June.  Pray for those in hospital or who are facing challenges to their health and wellbeing at this time, and ask God to bring healing of body, mind and spirit.

Wednesday 17 June.   Remember our young people as the school year draws near its end that each one may have a sense of how far they have travelled over the past twelve months and may look forward to continued growth over the summer.

Thursday 18 June.  Ask God's blessing on preparations for Family Week in August and the Scottish Camp in Hungary in July that all involved may be enabled to point others to Christ.

Friday 19 June.  Keep in your prayers those who are facing difficult times because of bereavement or challenging relationships, pressure of work or economic hardship, that each one may know God's touch today.

Saturday 20 June.  God of power, you uphold us in times of persecution and strengthen us to meet the trials of faithful witness. As you delivered us from death through our baptism in Christ and the victory of his resurrection send us forth to proclaim that glorious redemption, so that the world may claim the freedom of forgiveness and new life in you.

 Amen
