Prayer Points 14 December
Prayers for The Coming Week
Sunday 14 December. Pray for any who may find their way into a church service
over the Christmas period that the Good News of Christ's coming into the world may
touch the deepest places in their soul.
Monday 15 December. Ask God to help you invite friends or family members to one of our
Christmas events or services over the coming two weeks.
Tuesday16 December. Pray for assemblies each morning this week at Kinross High School
that as the Christmas message is shared it may give all who attend cause for thought.
Wednesday 17 December. Pray for this afternoon's Christmas assembly at Kinross Primary
School that the children may grasp something of the heart of the story of Christ's
coming.
Thursday 18 December. Pray for the children of Rosemount Nursery as they give their nativity
presentation at the church this morning and for family members who attend that they
may be drawn into the story of Christ's birth.
Friday 19 December. Ask God's blessing on Ailsa Morris and Peter Davies as they are
married today at Balhousie Castle in Perth. Pray that many will come to the carol
concert in the church this evening and that this event will be a blessing to all who
attend.
Saturday 20 December. O God of Elizabeth and Mary, you visited your servants with news
of the world’s redemption in the coming of the Saviour. Make our hearts leap with joy,
and fill our mouths with songs of praise, that we may announce glad tidings of peace,
and welcome the Christ in our midst.
