Prayer Points 12 October
Prayers for The Coming Week
Sunday 12 October. Ask God's enabling of all those who have a part to play in
leading and supporting worship today in Fossoway, Kinross and Orwell and at
Sunday@7 and pray that all who gather or join online may know the touch of Christ
upon their lives.
Monday 13 October. Continue to pray for all involved in seeking peace in Israel and
Palestine and pray for peace in the many conflict zones around the world.
Tuesday 14 October. Keep the Nominating Committee in your prayers as they consider any
applications that may have been received for the vacancy in our united parish, that
the process of discernment may be guided by the Holy Spirit.
Wednesday 15 October. Pray for the families of Eric McNeil, Brian Park and John White
whose funerals all take place this week, and for all who mourn at this time, that they
may find comfort and support in the midst of difficult days.
Thursday 16 October. Pray that God would bring new life by His Spirit to every area of our
lives as individuals and as a church, that the presence of God among us may be
obvious to all in our community.
Friday 17 October. Pray for Mairi MacLeod and Corey Forbes as they prepare to be married
in Kinross Church tomorrow that they and their families may know God's peace and
blessing.
Saturday 18 October. Holy One, we lift our eyes to you in hope and awe. Grant that we
may reject all apathy of spirit, all impatience and anxiety, so that, with the persistence
of the widow, we may lift our voice again, and again to seek your justice, through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
