Prayer Points 12 April
Prayer Points for The Coming Week:
Sunday 12 April. Seek God's blessing on those who have a part to play in leading
worship today and pray that all who are at church whether in person or online may be
blessed and equipped for service.
Monday 13 April. Pray for all who have the opportunity to take a break from their normal tasks
at this time of year and ask God to give refreshment and renewal to those who are weary
and burdened.
Tuesday 14 April. Give thanks for all who are care-givers whether in home and family or in an
institutional setting, that they may be renewed in strength day by day and that those they
are supporting may have the fullest experience of life of which they are capable.
Wednesday 15 April. Ask for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our church and community
and nation at this time that many may experience the fulness of life that comes from an
encounter with the risen Lord Jesus.
Thursday 16 April. Pray for peace in the world, beginning with your own heart and mind, our
church and community, our nation and the world's warzones.
Friday 17 April. Pray for God's leading in the recruitment of a part-time ministry assistant and
also of a pioneer youth minister which are underway at this time.
Saturday 18 April. Elusive God, companion on the way, you walk behind, beside, beyond; you
catch us unawares. Break through the disillusionment and despair clouding our vision that,
with wide-eyed wonder, we may find our way and journey on as messengers of your good
news.
