Prayer Points 11 May
We believe in a God that hears and answers prayer. Why not print this page and use it this week?
Sunday 11 May: Seek a blessing on all who will come through the doors of our churches today or who join a service online, that they may find a welcome and a home and that they may know themselves to be enfolded in the love of God.
Monday 12 May: As conflict continues around the globe, pray for those who are living their lives in daily fear for their lives; pray for those on all sides who are directing armed forces and pray for all who are engaged in the work of peace-making, that God's Kingdom may come.
Tuesday 13 May: Remember the work of Christian Aid and all those agencies who labour to make our world a better place for the sake of the poorest of the poor.
Wednesday 14 May: Ask God to strengthen the work of community organisations such as Kinross Centre, KYTHE, Broke Not Broken and the Volunteer Group, that no one in our community may be left out.
Thursday 15 May: Pray for the Presbytery Mission Initiative establishing a new worshipping community at Bertha Park, the new suburb of Perth being built just north of the bypass.
Friday 16 May: Give thanks for those who share in the work of the BB, Junior Church, Crossfire, Messy Church and Family Week that our children and young people may be shown the way of Christ and hear the call to follow Him.
Saturday 17 May: Alpha and Omega, First and Last, glory outshining all the lights of heaven: pour out upon us your Spirit of faithful love and abundant compassion, so that we may rejoice in the splendour of your works while we wait in expectation for the new heaven and the new earth you promise when Christ shall come again.
Amen
