Minister’s Message 26 October
Dear Friends,
A few things to highlight this week.
Firstly, I do want to encourage as many of you as possible to support the brass
band concert in the church on Wednesday evening which is being given by a
church group from Germany. There is something promised for all tastes. Entry is
free but donations may be made to Kinross Centre or to KYTHE if you wish on the
night.
On Friday there is a Light Party in the church from 5.30pm with games, music and
a message and the opportunity for children to dress up in bright clothes. All are
welcome so come and join the fun. There is no charge.
The elders met on Wednesday for a discussion evening looking at a variety of
topics including Communication, Pastoral Care and Worship. We are monitoring
how arrangements in the united parish are bedding in and we are always glad to
have feedback.
Moving towards the turn of the year we will be looking to develop a forward plan
and we will be asking for views from the congregation about what our priorities
should be as a church over the coming years. Please take time to pray about
these matters and get in touch if you have suggestions to make.
Finally a reminder to put your clocks back an hour on Saturday night for the end
of British Summer Time.
With all prayerful good wishes,
Alan
Rev A D Reid
