Minister’s Message 22 March
Dear Friends
Thank you to all who came out on Thursday night to mark my ordination and
induction as well as those who watched online. It was a special night and it was a
delight to share it all with you.
Having been here as your probationer, this Sunday marks both a new start and a
continuation. To use an analogy from my recent experience, I know how the bins
work but not what day I’m supposed to put them out. So I look forward to building
on that familiarity as well as encountering plenty of new things.
This Sunday we are following the Lent study materials, looking at our calling to be
salt and light as followers of Jesus. To season the world we live in and light the
way for people to meet Christ.
I look forward to seeing you at either 9:30am at Fossoway or 11:00 at Orwell (or
online of course).
