Hosting German Musicians
Hosting brass ensemble musicians from Germany.
Could you give bed and breakfast for two nights?
From Wednesday 29 October to Friday 31 October, a church brass ensemble from Germany is visiting Kinross-shire. They will give a concert (time and format will be confirmed) and would like to get to know a bit of life and the people here.
The group will be in Scotland from 21st to 31st October. They will stay with 4 churches across Scotland (South Queensferry, Carse of Gowrie, Bridge of Don), where they hope to stay with people from the congregations. They are a group of 12 musicians. Their band ‘Posaunenchor’ is affiliated with their local church in the former East Germany. The wider ‘Posaunenchor’ movement throughout Germany is combining faith, music and friendship.
As a host you would give a bed, breakfast and friendship 29th - 31st October. They all speak English to some extent. There are 3 couples (one with a baby) and 6 single people, getting around by car/minibus. If you can help with hosting, please get in touch with Kinross Church Office.
