Alpha Youth
Alpha Youth is an exciting opportunity open to all young people. Can you help support this important venture?
A new series of Alpha Youth will be happening in the New Year. If you are a young person between P7 and S6, then you are very welcome. It starts on Sunday 11 January from 10.15am till 12.45pm in the Church Centre and runs to Sunday 8 March.
We'll start with breakfast together, and then we'll watch a film and chat about it. Alpha Youth addresses lots of different questions that young people have. On Sunday, 15th February, we'll go away for the whole day to have fun and continue the programme.
In order for this to happen we are looking for some volunteers. Could you cook breakfast for the young people on one or more of these Sundays? Could you help set tables, chop, serve and wash up? Would you be willing to lead a small group discussion? (Training will be given). Or would you be able to help with AV? Could you be a driver or help prepare food for the day away on 15 February?
If you can help in any way, please give your name to Ruth or to the Church Office. (Please note that to be a group leader or a driver, you would require to have a Church of Scotland PVG but we can help you to get this).
