Prayer Points for the week commencing Sunday 5 May 2024
Sunday 5th May: Give thanks for the opportunity for Robert Calvert and Alan Reid to swap pulpits this Sunday as part of the drawing together of the congregations of Kinross and Orwell & Portmoak.
Monday 6th: Pray for the Kirk Session as it meets this evening with many weighty matters on the agenda as we seek to shape the future direction of the Church locally.
Tuesday 7th: Keep in your prayers all who are involved in Stepping Stones and pray for deepening relationships that may encourage some new families to get more involved in the Church.
Wednesday 8th: Pray for all involved with the Kinross Centre and ask God's blessing on all that is undertaken there that it may bring lasting benefit to many.
Thursday 9th: On this Ascension Day join with Christians the world over in praying for friends and family, neighbours and colleagues to come to faith in Christ: 'Your Kingdom come'.
Friday 10th: Remember those young folk who are currently undertaking exams and pray that they may be freed from anxiety and be able to give a good account of themselves.
Saturday 11th: Pray for all who will be Commissioners to the approaching General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, including Gordon McFarlane and Alan Reid, as they read reports and prepare to participate in debates.
