Two items in the March issue of Life and Work magazine are of special interest to us, with reports on our Guild's 135-year anniversary celebration, with photograph, and on the 2023 Blythswood Shoe-Box Appeal, which was supported by our congregation. The Highland-based Blythswood charity has announced that an amazing 84,655 gift-filled boxes were sent to eight countries in eastern Europe this year and thanks its many supporters from Church of Scotland congregations.
Life and Work is 'The Magazine of the Church of Scotland', though editorially independent. Digital subscriptions cost £32.99 for 12 issues (a year) or £42.00 for an annual print subscription including postage: https://www.lifeandwork.org/subscribe/subscribe. Or contact Anne S. through the church office. She organises print subscriptions which you then collect at the church. Life & Work, the magazine of The Church of Scotland, has started a series looking at the new presbyteries - one at a time! The first one featured was Lothian & Borders, see the January issue.
The February edition contains an article about our own presbytery - Presbytery of Perth.
