Your Invitation to Alpha Youth
If you are aged P7 to S6, we’d like to invite you to Alpha Youth in Kinross Church Centre on Sunday mornings. Alpha Youth is a space to listen, ask questions and explore some of the deeper questions about life and faith. I think you would really enjoy it.
Alpha Youth starts with a great breakfast at 10.15am each Sunday, then we’ll play a game, then we’ll watch a video and have a chat about any questions people might have. It will finish around 11.45am.
It starts on Sunday 11 January and the last session is on Sunday 8 March.
The exception to this is Sunday 15 February when we’ll have a day away. We’ll meet at 9.30am and drive to Go Ape at Aberfoyle. We’ll have brunch in the café there, then we’re booked to do the full treetop course. (If you’re under 16, then you’ll be partnered with a friend and will complete the course with someone aged 18 or over, to comply with the rules of Go Ape. After completing the course (which takes 2-3 hours), we’ll head to the local church in Aberfoyle to have a late lunch before taking part in our video session. We should be back in Kinross between 6.30 and 7pm.
The whole course is free, and that includes all your freshly cooked breakfasts, the trip to Go Ape, and all transport, food and drink on the day out.
Don’t worry if you’re not able to attend every session – we know you might have some other things planned on some of the dates. Just come along when you can. You are very welcome by yourself, or you can invite as many friends as you like. Let me know if you’d like to join us. Hope you can, but don’t worry if you can’t.
