SUPPORTING UKRAINIAN REFUGEE FAMILIES
Kinross Parish Church is partnered with The Great Church, Debrecen, Hungary, which is supporting a Hungarian speaking congregation in Csongor (Chomonyn) in Ukraine that is giving food and accommodation to over 30 refugee families from Kyiv and Kharkiv. The Csongor church is looking to renovate a building as a shelter-house for these displaced families.
The Kirk Session commends this project that offers practical, sustainable support. We have immediately sent a capital sum towards the renovation of the building but if you would like to make a donation towards ongoing support:
- please hand in a donation at a Sunday service, marking your envelope “Ukraine Appeal”
- please go to Stewardship link (at www.stewardship.org.uk/partners/20314082) and mark your offering "Ukraine Appeal"
