Fundraising Concert for Orwell & Portmoak: The Atelier String Quartet is formed by students near the end of their studies at both The Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London. The players are already well known as soloists and orchestra principals. They are on a tour of Scotland this month and will be playing in Inverness, Fortrose, Chryston, and St Mary’s Cathedral in Edinburgh as well as in Kinross Parish Church on Sunday, 23rd June at 7.30pm.

Works to be played are: Haydn Op. 20 No. 2, Janacek String Quartet No. 2, and Mendelssohn Op. 13. You are warmly invited to hear this young, gifted ensemble.

Tickets are £8.00 each including refreshments, available from Orwell & Portmoak Office and at the door. A contribution from the ticket sales will go to the Refurbishment of Orwell Church.

The second violin is Richard Montgomery, who is a grandson of Harry and Jeanette McLennan of Kinnesswood. Two of the other players are also Scottish.
