Moving from Strength to Strength.

For those who have not seen it, KYTHE’s annual report has been published and launched at The Gathering in February.

The annual report highlighted how much the work of KYTHE has and is extending, with over 350 hours of volunteer work in the year providing face-to-face contact with young people 993 times!! Just think how many more young people they could be in touch with and working with if they had more volunteers and capacity.

Looking forward, KYTHE will be increasing their focus on young people’s mental health and well-being. They will be partnering with The Wellbeing Academy and implementing programmes, such as Seasons for Growth, which is an educational programme designed to help young people manage grief and change.

A big plan for 2019 is to open a youth club on a Saturday evening with a focus on developing the creative arts, including opportunities for young performers to hit the stage. This of course will provide entertainment for the youth of the community and encourage sustainable communities and new learning opportunities. Pray for new volunteers to help expand the work of KYTHE showing God’s love in action.

Pray for the young people of Kinross-shire, that they can be supported to meet their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
