FARMERS’ MARKET DEBUT FOR TRAIDCRAFT

Posted on: September 8, 2018

As Kinross-shire has been a Fairtrade County for over 10 years, Traidcraft were pleased to have a stall at the June Farmers’ Market and hope to make their involvement a regular event. The stall showcased a sample of the goods sold through stalls at all the Kinross-shire churches and church offices.

Traidcraft sell everything from curry sauce and rice to gardening gloves and socks made from bamboo, as well as delicious Divine chocolate. Please think of the producers who grow and make these goods and help Traidcraft to give them a fair price for their products, so that they can support their families.

Karena Jarvie says, “We are delighted that so many local businesses support Fairtrade through buying goods from our stall, so please contact us if you would like to buy tea, coffee, sugar sticks, chocolate, or other goods. Thanks as always to Buchan’s of Kinnesswood, Hunters’ of Kinross, Loch Leven Lodges, The Kirklands, The Courthouse, and the Scottish Gliding Centre.”
