HOUSE GROUPS

The housegroups are taking a break over the Summer holidays period and will start up in August /September.

We have 4 groups at the moment and plans for a fifth are in progress.

THE GUILD
 

The Guild meets fortnightly on Tuesday evenings between October and March,
and the first meeting will be held on
Tuesday 5th October at 7.15 p.m. in the Church Centre.

The details of our programme for 2010-2011 will be confirmed shortly.

We have 41 members at present and a warm welcome is extended to anyone who may wish to join us.

THE CRAFT GROUP

The Craft Group meets 1.30 pm on a Wednesday afternoon in the Meeting Room of the Church during school term time.

Their activities are wide and varied but always accompanied by chat and laughter.

THE THURSDAY GROUP

The Thursday Group started in 1975 with six members. Today we have approx. 30 members. It is mainly a Women's Group for any age, married or single and from any denomination, but men would be made very welcome if they came along.
We meet the first Thursday of every month September to June at 7.30pm in the Church Centre.
Our talks are varied. Sometimes it's a slide show or we're shown how to make cards, cake decorating, flower arranging etc. where the members can participate.
The evenings finish with refreshments and a chance to have a chat with friends.
Each year in one meeting we have a fund raising event with the proceeds going to various charities.
