Church Office
The Church Office (in the vestry) is open 10am to 12noon every weekday, staffed by Church Office Coordinator Pamela Clarke and a team of volunteers. The church is also open at this time for those who wish to use the sanctuary for quiet contemplation or who wish to see inside our historic kirk (but please bear in mind that Pram Service takes place every Tuesday morning during term time). There is a Visitors Book that you may wish to sign, if appropriate, but otherwise your visit will be confidential unless you specifically ask that we pass on information to, for example, the minister. There is always someone on duty with whom to have a cup of tea and chat, if you wish. The church is now listed in Scotland’s Churches Scheme (www.sacredscotland.org) as being open to visitors.
The role of the Church Office is to support the Minister, Reader and Session Clerk to reduce their administrative workload, as well as undertaking administrative and printing tasks.
