GREETINGS FROM THE MANSE SUNDAY 3 MAY 2020 (with link to Worship Service)

Greetings from the Manse,

Below is the link to this morning's service on Youtube. The video will also be shown 'as live' on Facebook beginning at 10.30am if you would like to watch it in company with others in the congregation – you can say hello in the comments section while you are there. From around 11.15am there will again be the opportunity to join others for a cuppa and a chat via Zoom.

The new prayer diary is available for May on the KPC website. There will be Time for Prayer this week as usual this evening at 7pm (when we join with others across the country to pray for our nation) and on Wednesday at midday (when we pray for the parish). In this first week of the month, some reflections for silent meditation will be posted tomorrow morning. These can all be accessed at www.facebook.com/kinrossparishchurch – you do not have to have a Facebook account to see what is there.

It is always good to hear back from you – do please continue to send in any pictures of yourselves which you would be happy to share as part of the weekly services. I think it helps to remind everyone that we are in this together. Also, please share any news so that we can weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice. If you are a newcomer, write and introduce yourself – we would love to get to know you better.

I was due to be having a week's holiday at the beginning of May so (although it will obviously not be possible to get away) I am going to try and have three or four quieter days during the week ahead. If you need pastoral support during that time you can call on Kathy Dain.

With warm and prayerful good wishes,

Alan
