GREETINGS FROM THE MANSE - 29 MARCH 2020

Greetings from the Manse!

A week on from our first venture into online worship and now with virtually all of us confined at home, the reality of separation is beginning to bite. Sharing in this morning's service will remind us that we still belong together and will widen our horizons for a time, but don't let it stop there. Make a point of picking up the phone and speaking to someone you would normally see at church, take a moment to pray for someone you know who is on their own or who is out on the front line as a key worker in the NHS or in a supermarket or in distribution, be kind to those you are cooped up with.

I am trying to 'visit' people by telephone although that must begin with those who cannot connect like this online. I hope to speak to you all personally in the fulness of time. Do e-mail me on areid@churchofscotland.org.uk or take a moment to introduce yourselve to Kathy Dain on kathleen.dain@gmail.com - we live in extraordinary times.

May the peace of Christ be yours in these days.
Alan
